10 symptoms of Breast Cancer
Breast cancer develops with in the breast tissues. This type of cancer is common in Women of USA as well as it is found throughout the world. The major reason for breast cancer is ”No Breast Feeding”. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in the world. In 2017, about 255,180 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed in the U.S. alone. So, no matter who you are or where you live, breast cancer may touch your life.
Progress in treatment and early detection has led to improved survival for people of all ages and races, and with all stages of breast cancer. In fact, there are more than 3.1 million breast cancer survivors in the U.S. today (more than any other group of cancer survivors). There are so many causes of breast cancer, but the most common cause of a breast cancer is ”No Breast Feeding”. So please do not avoid breast feeding, if you want to live a safe and secure life.
01. Inflammatory and Itchy Breasts:
A common symptom of breast cancer is itchy and inflammatory breast. An itch in and around your breasts can indicate an underlying issue more severe than dermatitis. The itchy condition along with nipple discharge, shoulder and neck pain might be the symptom of breast cancer.
02. Lump in Breast:
Although breast cancer is the most common cancer found in women, most breast lumps are not cancer. They may also feel firm or solid, and might be fixed to the tissue in the breast. These lumps are often painless. However, in a small percentage of women, a painful breast lump turns out to be cancer. When performing a self breast exam, carefully apply pressures to the breasts and surrounding tissues with your fingers. Both benign (non cancerous) and malignant (cancerous) breast lumps sometimes form under the armpit, in the collarbone, near the site of the lymph nodes, and around the nipples, as rigid, hard, tender lumps that don’t move when you press against them. Any tenderness may be due to swollen tissues. If you detect a lump, call your doctor immediately.
03. Swollen Breasts:
A variety of things can cause breast swelling. Premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is one common cause of breast swelling. Before the start of each period, your estrogen production increases. Along with other changes in your body, this hormonal shift can cause your breast ducts and milk glands to become enlarged. But if swelling is for a long time period it may be due to the inflammation and pain in the breast. Breast cancer creates pain and stretch the tissues due to swelling.
04. Breast Size Change:
When you are suffering from Breast cancer the size of your breast is varied. You can detect it when you are in-front of mirror and you can detect it with your bra. Breast Size may also change due to one sided feeding: means if you use one breast more often than the other. Similarly it may a symptom of breast cancer and you should not avoid it.
05. Breast Tenderness:
Some women have lumpy breast tissue called fibrocystic breasts, which may be more painful during certain times of the month. Fibrocystic breasts are not necessarily linked to cancer, and the lumps are fluid filled cysts rather than a mass of cells. Fibrocystic breast changes are also a common cause of breast pain.Breast tumors will range in pain—that’s if they cause any discomfort at all. It’s more common for a lump to develop in small, seed-like structure along the breast tissue, which may cause the breasts to be tender when you’re lying down, being caressed by your partner, or feeling friction from your bra.
06. Shoulder & Neck Stiffness:
Breast cancer cause stiffness, pain and aches for a long time period is distinctive symptom of Breast cancer. This type of stiffness and pain in shoulder and neck relates to the second stage of breast cancer. The pain might be for some other reasons, but if the pain is not relieving and continues for a long time, you should bring it to the attention of your doctor.
07. Nipple Discharge:
Breast cancer shows itself in a milky, watery, or blood-tinged discharge that leaves behind a scaly crust on the nipple, because the breast cancer prone area is your milk ducks. These milk ducts surrounds your nipple. During a breastfeeding the discharge of milk or something else is normal, but if you are not breastfeeding, any discharge from the nipples is not normal.
08. Nipple Sensitivity:
This symptoms is also noticed by your partner well. Nipple pain or discomfort is common at certain times in a woman’s monthly cycle, triggered by the changes in levels of Oestrogen and progesterone. Tenderness in the breasts and nipples is most commonly felt prior to your period. This is usually normal and nothing to worry about. But if your nipples becomes more sensitive and irritated for a long and continuous time period then the risk of cancer is more likely. This symptom is very common. Whenever you feel sensitivity in your nipple comparative to other one, you should consult your doctor.
09. Asymmetrical Nipples:
Your partner can feel it better. A tumor that develops underneath the nipple can also cause your nipples to change in a visual manner as well. Your nipples may be inverted, flat, indented, or asymmetrical in shape. Another major for asymmetrical nipples is ”no breast feeding”.
10. Dimpled Breast Tissue:
Thickening of skin tissues surrounding breast is another symptom occur in the earliest stages of breast cancer development. The skin over the breasts may become red or dimpled, or like an orange cover.
