Before defining the Flash Website, let me differentiate the two types of websites; Flash and HTML. HTML5 is the next major revision of the HTML standard, which is a markup language designed to represent web content in a structured manner. Although it will take years until a final specification is published and supported consistently across browsers and platforms, some features of HTML5 are being used today to deliver rich experiences across platforms, including devices where Flash is not allowed.
Flash is a binary format for multimedia content. Using ActionScript, an object-oriented scripting language based on ECMAscript, developers program and compile applications into SWF files that run across platforms on browsers equipped with the Flash Player plugin. Flash Player 10 is estimated to be present in more than 98% of Internet connected computers in the US and Canada.
HTML and Flash are not mutually exclusive technologies, as their differences actually make it possible to combine their strengths to create powerful applications and richer experiences.
Flash is a software technology for creating and managing interactive multimedia web applications like web sites, animations, movies, games, advertisement banners and more. It gives you almost unlimited options in the design of your pages. The best Flash creating / editing application is called Swish.

In a TV address on October 22, 1962, President John Kennedy (1917-63) notified Americans about the presence of the missiles, explained his decision to enact a naval blockade around Cuba and made it clear the U.S. was prepared to use military force if necessary to neutralize this perceived threat to national security. Following this news, many people feared the world was on the brink of nuclear war. However, disaster was avoided when the U.S. agreed to Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev’s (1894-1971) offer to remove the Cuban missiles in exchange for the U.S. promising not to invade Cuba.
