According to the theory of Malthus, the population of a country gets double in 50 years if it is not checked properly. The population of a country grows with a geometric ratio, while the resources grow with an arithmetic ratio. Growing population is a great threat to the economy of a region. It must be checked other wise Nature will check it automatically. The natural check has always been terrifying. Today the world population is crossing 7,410,015,895. Most of its part is comprised of following 10 countries.

01. China:

China is a big country located in Central Asia. It is world’s biggest country with regard to population. In 2017 population of China has crossed 1,379,302,771. Majority of Population is comprised of male. China has dramatically controlled it growth ratio in population. The annual growth ration is far less than that of India. It is believed that the Population of India will exceed that of China by 2025.

02. India:

India is second most populous country in this world. The burden of India’s population not only affected the economy of India itself, but also it has negatively impacted the economy of the rest of the world. An enormous flow of population from India to Arab and European and American countries. Today India’s population is grown to 1,281,935,911. Resources of India are quite limited as compared to its fast growing population. According to a report of India’s time India’s population will cross that of China in 2015.

03. United States:

USA is the largest Country (population wise) in the North America. USA sits 3rd in this list. Resources of USA are far better than those of India and China. The employment ratio is also satisfactory as compared to the rest of the world. However USA also needs to check its population and overwhelming number of immigrants in order to maintain a balance between the population and resources. Population of USA in the beginning of 2017 is 326,625,791.

04. Indonesia:

Indonesia is the 4th largest country in the world with regard to its population. It is also the largest country in Islamic world. Its population is 260,580,739. Its 60 percent population lives in rural area.

05. Brazil:

Population of Brazil is 207,353,391. Brazil is the largest South American country with regard to population. Brazil is a developing country. All the developing country should strictly have a check over their population in order to fasten their growth rate.

06. Pakistan:

Pakistan is 3rd largest country of Asia and second largest country in South Asia. Pakistan’s No. is 6th in this list. Pakistan’s population has crossed 200,000,000 in 2017. Pakistan’s economy is not stable as that of China and Brazil. But percentage of prosperity in Pakistan is far better that India. Pakistan’s area is not as large as that of India, therefore it need to focus more than any country in the world to control its population.

07. Nigeria:

Nigeria is the biggest country in Africa. Most of Its population is comprised of Muslim community. The economic condition of Nigeria very bad. The overwhelming population is a serious threat for the economic growth of Nigeria. Its population is 195,642,252.

08. Bangladesh:

Bangladesh is 3rd biggest country of South Asia. Its population is 157,826,578. Bangladesh has controlled its population as compared to Pakistan and India. Because at the time of Independence (1947) population of West Pakistan (Pakistan) was less than the population of  East Pakistan (Bangladesh), but today Pakistan’s population has crossed the population of Bangladesh. Bangladesh has also improved its economic growth by introducing small and medium size loans.

09. Russia:

Area wise, Russia is the biggest country in the world. On the other hand it sits 9th in the list of top ten populous countries. Its population is 142,257,519. In this regard Russia is the least densely populated country in the world. Russia has a strong economy and power despite having least sea routes for trade.

10. Japan:

Japan is an island nation in the Pacific Ocean with dense cities, imperial palaces, mountainous national parks and thousands of shrines and temples. Shinkansen bullet trains connect the main islands of Kyushu (with Okinawa’s subtropical beaches), Honshu (home to Tokyo and Hiroshima’s atomic-bomb memorial) and Hokkaido (famous for skiing). Tokyo, the capital, is known for skyscrapers, shopping and pop culture. Japan is the most developed country in Asia and most advance country in fields of science and technology in the world. Japan’s population is 126,451,398. But its area is not as vast as that of Russia, Brazil, China, etc. Therefore its needs to focus on checking its population in order to stabilize the economic growth. Japan has controlled its population since 2005 onward.
